  I have been working on two things recently. The first one is a
project on topological strings with Albrecht Klemm. We try to
understand the holomorphic anomaly euations directly in gauge theories
and matrix models by their relations with topological strings. Along
the way we obtain many new exact results for certain old problems,
such the exact solutions of Seiberg-Witten theory at higher genus,
matrix models at higher genus. The second thing is a project with Gary
Shiu et al on non-Gaussian features in certain string inflation
models.
