Statement of Interest:


  My primary research interests are in the study of metastable supersymmetry breaking vacua in string theory and the extent to which their properties are accessible through the topological string.  In particular, I am interested in the generalization of large-N dualities and geometric transitions in the context of non-supersymmetric vacua and compact Calabi-Yau compactifications.  

A preliminary effort in these directions was made in "Geometrically Induced Metastability and Holography" (hep-th/0610249), with Mina Aganagic, Jihye Seo, and Cumrun Vafa.
