  I am currently working on the weak coupling limit of F-theory with Paolo Aluffi, Andres Collinuci and  Frederik Denef.  This involves interesting links with current researches on topological invariants for singular varieties in algebraic geometry. During my  Phd I was working on cosmic strings and Fayet-Iliopoulos terms in supergravity. I am also interested in application of BRST cohomology to deformation theory.
