Statement of Interest:

I have worked on two things recently. One is the solution of topological string theory on a class of one-parameter compact Calabi-Yau 3-folds to very high genus. This has been a long-standing problem of almost a decade. By using some recent technical advancements, namely a approach of integrating the holomorphic anomaly equation efficiently and some novel boundary conditions in the Calabi-Yau moduli space, we are able to make a major progress on this question. This work was done in collaboration with Klemm et al. Another research direction of mine is the continuation of the study about observational signatures and non-Gaussianities in general single field inflation. In particular the trispectrum of a class of inflationary models were calculated and found to have observable signatures in future CMB (Cosmic Microwave Background)experiments. This work was done in collaboration with Shiu.
