Statement of Interest:



I have not done any work directly related to string theory, but as I
am on sabbatical (for the first time) this year I am hoping to branch
out a bit.

My work has mostly been in the area of integrable systems: solitons as
well as finite dimensional integrable Hamiltonian systems.  I have
been especially interested in the symmetry called "bispectrality"
which appears as an important form of duality in a variety of
different contexts (including string theory, as far as I know) and
still appears quite mysterious
