Statement of Interest:


  My research interests focus mainly on the interface between mathematics and physics. I am interested in the interconnections between string theory, geometry, topology, quantum field theory and gauge theory. Two of my main research interests at the moment consist in studying relations between Gromov-Witten theory and topological string theory, and in searching for realistic compactifications of heterotic string theory on non-simply connected Calabi-Yau threefolds.
