  String theory, field theory, mathematical physics. 
In particular I am interested in D-branes in Calabi--Yau 
spaces, (homological) mirror symmetry, topological string 
theory and the calculation of string scattering amplitudes in 
Calabi--Yau compactifications with D--branes and orientifolds.
