Statement of Interest:


  My research interests lie in the gauge/string theory correspondence,
having mostly worked on extensions of the duality towards more "realistic"
field theories. More recently, I have been concentrating on the
AdS/condensed matter correspondence, in particular considering
non-relativistic backgrounds relevant to the description of cold atom gases.
