Statement of Interest:


  1.  Local bulk physics in AdS/CFT: we've constructed CFT operators
which are dual to local operators in the bulk of AdS.

  2.  Recently I've been looking at the non-trivial backgrounds
introduced by Adams et. al., which are supposed to restrict the
space of effective field theories that have good UV completions.
