Statement of Interest:


  My main research interests are quantum field theories and string theory.\\
In particular I am currently studying models of modified gravity such as the Dvali-Gabadadze-Porrati model\\
and its higher codimension generalizations.\\
Their implications range from providing a covariant model of massive gravity\\
to offering an alternative way towards the solution of the cosmological constant problem.\\
I am also intersted in the related problem of realizing these models in a fundamental theory such as string
theory.\\
I am iterested in string theory both as a fundamental theory
of all interactions (and the related string phenomenology and string cosmology)\\
and also as a dual (equivalent) description of field theories (holographic descriptions of QCD-like theories).
