Statement of Interest:


  My current research has been advised by Prof. Cumrun Vafa 
and has centered on realizing Standard Model-like vacua 
within string theory.  Other interest include 
properties of supersymmetry breaking vacua realized in 
string theory; the relation between dimer models, 
topological string theory and quiver gauge theories; spin 
chain integrability in AdS(5)/CFT(4); and black holes in 
matrix theory.
