  Currently I'm working on physical applications of balanced metrics. These are approximate Ricci-flat metrics on Kähler manifolds. They realize the principle of maximum entropy for the system of many particles in nonuniform magnetic field on the zeroth Landau level. Applications of balanced metrics include String theory Landscape and Quantum Hall Effect.
