Statement of Interest:
Generally, I'm interested in mathematical and phenomenological aspects and implications of string theory.
So far, on the phenomenological side I was mainly interested in IIA/B global and local model building and the various open questions/problems therein, however I keep as well track of other approaches as for example the recent ones based on F-theory.
On the more mathematical oriented side, I'm especially interested in the open string sector and aspects thereof under mirror symmetry, as for example the counting of holomorphic discs.
