Statement of Interest:


  My interests focus on the area of applied AdS/CFT
or AdS/QCD. I am generally interested in universality properties of gauge theories and
currently examining the validity of the Cardy-Verlinde formula for CFTs with fundamental matter.
In addition, I am investigating the holographic duals of
 Wilson lines with insertions 
(of non-gauge invariant objects) 
and their relation to spinning strings in the dual backgrounds.
