Balazs Szendroi Title: The refined topological vertex and Poincare polynomials Abstract: I will recall the refinement of the topological vertex formulae given by Iqbal-Kozcaz-Vafa, and discuss how they conjecturally compute Poincare polynomials of highly singular moduli spaces of Calabi-Yau threefolds such as their Hilbert schemes of points.
